The museum contains documents and materials on military history during the Great Patriotic War (WWII). The museum is located at 41-kilometer of the Volokolamsk highway – one of the main defence line of Moscow. Together with the indoor exhibition (more than 17 thousand items) there is a big open air one: 14 tanks from the WWII, artillery and the weapons collection.

The monument is made from the tremendous block of granite, which rises four-meter bronze statue of the World Don hero Ermak Timofeevich. In his left hand he holds a flag, and in the right - a crown, symbolizing the conquest of Siberia, which he gifted to the Russian state.

In the surroundings of Kruzhilin Village a sculptural composition “To the Cossacks of the “Quiet Don” is set up on the hill piled up at the crossroads. Tourists often call it a monument to Grigoriy Melekhov. The sculptor must have managed to embody in the image of a Cossack on horseback the traits typical for the protagonist of the novel “And Quiet Flows the Don”.

The Sculpture (author Mozhaev NV) mounted on a high chalk hill on the opposite bank of the Vyoshenskaya village, with a magnificent view of the majestic flow of the river Don and its surroundings. Eagle, swinging wings before flight, embodies the young writer, ready to enter into the complicated life.

In August 23, 1942, Germans made a barbaric bombing of Stalingrad. Killed more than 40,000 civilians. Preserved fountain "Children dance" has become a symbol of the undefeated Stalingrad. In 2013, the monument was restored. It is a symbol of the victory of life over death. The truth is always higher than the hate and enmity.

Immanuel Kant was a German philosopher from K?nigsberg, researching, lecturing and writing on philosophy and anthropology at the end of the 18th Century Enlightenment. Kant’s magnum opus, the Critique of Pure Reason, aimed to unite reason with experience to move beyond what he took to be failures of traditional philosophy and metaphysics.
